Thanksgiving Pictures, Images and Photos
Bi-weekly Challenge - 15th November to 29th November

Thanksgiving is on the 26th, so I want to know what you are all thankful for. This can be shown any way you wish, get your cameras out and take some pictures - you could blog about it if you want, or you could create a layout, mini album, list - the sky is the limit! Oh you could even send a card to someone thanking them!

I'll have an example up soon...

Distressing!!

No this challenge isn't scary and it won't make you upset! It's all about distressing. I want to see some layouts, cards, altered items - anything creative you can make that includes some distressing.

Some examples of Distressing are: scrunching your paper up, sanding, tearing, running your scissors down the edge of the paper to roughen it up, using inks to distress and even spraying bleach on coloured paper to create a mottled effect - go wild, take your stresses out on your paper!!

Here's an example of how I sanded the pleats in the paper to distress them and bring out the lighter orange/white of the paper:

Weekly Challenge - 3rd to 10th October

Saturday, October 3, 2009

Create a layout - any size - using alternative supplies for embellies
What this means is you have to use something that's not normally used in scrapbooking

eg. staples, paper clips, clothes tags, material, pages from a book, even stamping with something other than a conventional stamp - think outside the box and look around your house for funky items you can use!

There's no limit to how many you can use.

Have fun!

Here is an example - I used a real tag from a tea-towell and added it to my paper version
